C.S. Lewis says, “Do not let your happiness depend on something you may lose.”

To me, that is such a bold, convicting statement.. As I’m learning this, I’m trying to focus on where I place my hope and happiness. Not in jobs, of friendships.
Everything around me is always changing, and that’s just life. One thing that I know I can count on is, Jesus.
Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever. That is where I am place my hope and happiness. Knowing that truth is freeing.
